“Me Time” for Moms

Taking care of yourself is imperative. "Me time'' is not a luxury that detracts from your parenting station; "me time” is very necessary and therapeutic. “Me time” will give you time to take care of yourself. It is important to make sure that you are eating healthy and exercising enough so that you are able to take care of your family. Relaxing is also necessary for good health. You need to be mentally capable of taking care of the day to day responsibilities of running a household. Examples of “Me time” could be a day off from work and enjoying one of your favorite activities all by yourself, getting a well earned massage, or even taking in a matinee movie.
